ER collets have a wide gripping range (about .040 inch) and provide a fast. easy and accurate way of holding end mills. fly cutters. saw mandrels and drill bits in milling machine spindles. When used in a lathe. they hold stock more accurately and have a better grip than chucks. and thin-wall tubes can be gripped without distortion. They’re quick to set up and can be used at high speed. Our ER25 collet set includes a precision ground shank and ‘snap-in’ collets with compression nut and spanner for easy tightening. plus custom molded case.
